ZhenCui Co-Organizes 9th National Enzyme Symposium

From July 15 to 17, 2025, the 9th National Symposium on Research, Development and Application Technology of Enzyme Preparations, hosted by the China Biotech Fermentation Industry Association and co-organized by ZhenCui (Jiangsu) Enzyme Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ZhenCui Technology") and other institutions, was successfully held in Suqian, Jiangsu. With the theme "Innovative Enzyme Preparations Empowering Diverse Industries," the symposium brought together top domestic experts, scholars, industry leaders, and corporate representatives to discuss cutting-edge advances and industrial applications of enzyme preparation technology in fields such as green manufacturing and nutritional health. For the first time, the symposium featured sub-forums on "Graduate Student Forum," "Enzymes and Nutritional Health," and "Enzymes and Green Manufacturing." During the plenary session, a new research ecosystem and value creation model of the Enzyme-Based Technology Innovation Institute (EBTII), under ZhenCui Technology, was released.

Enzyme Preparations: Driving a New Future for Green Bioeconomy

Against the backdrop of global advocacy for sustainable development and the "dual carbon" goals, enzyme preparations, as the core engine of green biomanufacturing, have become a key technology in national strategic planning. This symposium closely followed policy guidelines such as the 14th Five-Year Plan for Bioeconomy Development, focusing on cutting-edge technologies including enzyme molecular design, AI-driven optimization, and ultra-high-throughput screening, while promoting deep integration of industry, academia, and research. Through academic presentations, technology demonstrations, and industry matchmaking, the symposium further strengthened the application potential of enzyme preparations in food, medicine, environmental protection, and other fields, providing important support for the transformation and upgrading of China's bioeconomy.

Keynote Speech: Dr. Zimmern Chow Outlines the Strategic Blueprint of Enzyme-Based Technology

Dr. Zimmern Chow delivered a keynote speech at the conference, titled "Enzyme Technology Creates Happiness," in which he systematically shared ZhenCui's core theoretical framework and innovative practices. Currently, ZhenCui holds over 40 patents, serves 10+ cities across borders, and operates two major production bases. Dr. Chow's monograph, Enzyme-Based Immune Balance, provides an important theoretical reference for the development of the industry.

Academic Feast: Cutting-Edge Research and Technological Breakthrough

  1. Graduate Student Forum: Emerging Talent Shines

The "Graduate Student Forum" on July 15 featured opening remarks by Lu Fuping, President of Tianjin University of Science and Technology, and was moderated by Professor Liu Yihan from the same university. Young scholars from 11 institutions, including South China University of Technology, Jiangnan University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, presented innovative achievements, demonstrating the technological vitality and talent pipeline in the field of enzyme preparations.

  1. Sub-Forum I: Enzymes and Nutritional Health

Professor Li Yu from Tianjin University of Science and Technology, also Vice Dean of the Enzyme-Based Technology Innovation Institute, delivered a keynote report titled "Development and Application Research of Enzyme and Enzyme-Based Health Products," publicly unveiling the institute's research vision and industrialization pathway for the first time at an academic conference. The report highlighted "Green Plum Soft Gummy," a weight management product developed using enzyme-based technology, which has been experimentally shown to significantly inhibit fat cell differentiation and reduce fat accumulation, offering an innovative solution for the healthy food sector.

  1. Sub-Forum II: Enzymes and Green Manufacturing

This sub-forum focused on intelligent design and environmental applications of industrial enzyme preparations. Experts including Professor Luo Huiying from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Professor Han Shuangyan from South China University of Technology shared the latest achievements in feed enzymes, pharmaceutical enzymes, and PET depolymerization enzymes, highlighting the core value of enzyme preparations in advancing the circular economy.
