Since its founding in 2023, ZhenCui (Jiangsu) Enzyme Technology Development Co., Ltd. has focused on enzyme engineering and biotechnology to build a full-industry-chain closed loop encompassing R&D, raw material production, formula customization, and promotion support. The company is establishing a modern production base in Shuyang, Suqian, Jiangsu.
To date, ZhenCui has secured 21 patents and 13 registered trademarks, and has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise. The company plans a total investment of RMB 1 billion to build the ZhenCui Super Enzyme Factory on a 98-mu site. Phase I, operational since April 2024, features 5,000 m² of GMP-grade workshops and production lines for all dosage forms, with an annual capacity of 2,000 tons. Phase II includes R&D facilities and a jointly established Enzyme-Based Technology Innovation Research Institute with Tianjin University of Science and Technology. Phase III will focus on synthetic and bio-fermented enzymes.
By the end of 2025, ZhenCui had developed 20 enzyme-based foods, delivered 390,000 boxes with 100% on-time completion, and completed pilot production for 7 nutraceuticals. The company has obtained FSSC 22000, HACCP, and FDA certifications, with its production system fully aligned with pharmaceutical GMP standards and supported by a Nobel Laureate Cooperation Workstation.
ZhenCui is transitioning from a product manufacturer to an application solution provider. It has built a scientific evidence-based trust system, leveraging three technology platforms and conducting clinical trials in partnership with GCP institutions to deliver medical-grade validation.
The company offers a "tangible product + scientific endorsement" package, including standard/customized enzyme-based foods, certifications, test reports, and factory tours. Its intelligent "Eye of Happiness" exhibition hall transforms factory visits into an immersive marketing hub for brand building and trust creation.
Short-term goals (1–3 years) include expanding production scale by 50% and increasing existing product capacity by 30%. Long-term goals focus on sustainable development, resource optimization, and building an open Enzyme Technology Service Platform.
ZhenCui's journey demonstrates that functional food companies must shift from short-term marketing to long-term technology and quality-driven strategies, building their own moat while driving industry-wide value enhancement through chain-based ecological synergy.
