Enzyme-based Technology Innovation Institute Reaches Topping-Out Milestone

November 21, 2024, Shuyang, Jiangsu — Bestzyme Group celebrated the topping-out ceremony for its Enzyme-based Technology Innovation Institute, a cornerstone of the Phase II expansion at its Zhencui Super Enzyme Factory. This milestone marks a strategic leap in advancing enzyme-based research and industrial applications.

  • Global Research Hub: The institute will drive cutting-edge research in enzyme theory and applications, including food enzyme standards, microecology, immune balance, and oncology, collaborating with Tianjin University of Science & Technology and China’s National Key Laboratory of Nutrition and Safety.

  • Elite Team: 14 professors, 11 associate professors, and 3 postdoctoral researchers have joined the initiative.

  • International Leadership:

1.Advisory Board: Chaired by Ameenah Gurib-Fakim (former President of Mauritius, renowned biologist).

2.Academic Committee: Led by Prof. Lu Fuping (President of Tianjin University of Science & Technology).

Future Roadmap
  • Facilities: Specialized labs (e.g., enzyme engineering, cell biology) to open by October 2025, accelerating R&D commercialization.

  • Nobel Collaboration: Partnership with Nobel Laureate Carol Greider will enhance translational research.

Dr. Zimmern Chow, Chairman of Bestzyme & Bestlife Group, emphasized: "This institute bridges global expertise to elevate enzyme science, fueling our vision of a 'Global Enzyme Hub.'"
